DescripciónThe Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) is one of the top leading cancer research institutes in Europe, hosting world-renowned scientists that have made significant contributions in both basic and translational aspects of cancer CNIO is seeking to recruit a Director for a novel research programme dedicated to Cancer Genomics. We are looking for a highly motivated world leading scientist with a strong research background, to lead and coordinate several Research Groups working of the fields of human cancer genetics and epidemiology, as well as in genomics and proteomics bioinformatic analysis applied to both basic and translational research in main duties of the Programme Director would be : Setting up and developing research priorities within the Programme, including the coordination of the existing Research Groups, the recruitment of new talent, and the investment in the strategic research goals of the Programme, working closely with the CNIO Director and Vice-Director. Playing a critical role in fostering and coordinating educational / training activities within the Programme. The Programme Director is also expected to set up and lead a competitive research group in any aspect of cancer research aligned with the strategic goals of the Programme.
